Workspot Control Release 19.3 Notes

Highlights

  • Schedule:

  • In Entra ID-only deployments, the "Add/Edit Pools" page for desktops and application servers allows you to select RDS AAD authentication options on a pool-by-pool basis. These include RDS Entra ID Authentication, Windows Hello for Business, and fallback to non-NLA RDP authentication.

  • Customers using third-party identity providers can enable notifications telling Client users that the passwords on their Workspot Desktops or Applications have expired or are about to expire. This is set on the "Setup > Configuration" page. Client support for this feature begins with Windows Client 6.4.0, with other clients to follow. This is a selective feature: contact Workspot to enable it.

  • The cipher suite accepted by Control has been reduced to exclude ciphers that are no longer considered highly secure. See Customer Advisory: Changes to Cipher Suite and DNS Servers.

Known Issues

New Known Issue

When the RDSAADauth selective feature is enabled on a Workspot deployment, persistent desktops that are recreated via an “Image Update” or “Auto Create on Delete” are unreachable if they were in a power-saving mode at the time.
