The Workspot Client connects end-users to their remote Workspot Desktops and Applications while enforcing the policies set in Workspot Control.
When a user signs into the Workspot Client, they see the Client dashboard displaying an icon for each of the Workspot Desktops and Applications they are entitled to use. Clicking on the icon launches a remote connection to the Desktop or Application or, in the case of Web Applications, launches a Workspot Enterprise Browser connection to the URL of the Web Application.

Key Features
End-users can get started without administrator intervention (self-registration) if they belong to an appropriate AD or Entra ID group.
Users whose accounts are deleted or suspended in AD/Entra ID lose Workspot access automatically.
End-users receive an experience as if their desktops and apps were running locally, though they are running on Cloud/on-prem resources you control.
Multiple monitors, audio, video, 4K monitors, and so on are all supported.
The user experience (and IT management) are same on every supported Cloud environment (Azure, GCP, etc.).
End-users can see and access only the Workspot desktops and apps you have granted them permission for, usually via AD/Entra ID group membership.
The Client experience is much the same for every supported device architecture (Windows, Mac, Android, etc.).
The Client works from anywhere if you use Workspot RD Gateways (recommended) or VPNs.
Most Clients even have built-in VPN clients.
Comprehensive management features are provided by a single portal: Workspot Control.
Extensive monitoring and troubleshooting are done through Workspot Trends and Workspot Watch.
Client Versions
The Workspot Client is available in different versions for different end-user devices, such as Windows and Android. All except the Windows and Web Clients are installed from the appropriate App Stores:
Installing the Client
See the links above for the individual Clients.
Registering the Client
Registering the Client.
After launching the Client, the end-user signs in with the following information:
Company Identifier: usually the name of your company, such as “acme.”
Either:
User email address. This is the user’s corporate email address. The user is emailed a validation code to register the client.
Login credentials, including optional multi-factor authentication. These entitlements are typically configured to use your AD or Entra ID group authentication.
Resources Available to the User
The Workspot desktops and apps the user is entitled to (“Entitlements”) are usually based on their AD/Entra ID group memberships, though resources can also be assigned manually.
These are the resources that are shown on the Client dashboard.
Signing into Resources
The end-user clicks on a resource shown on the Client dashboard. They sign in and use the resource remotely via the RDP protocol.
