Two commonly used options provide end-users with initial troubleshooting capabilities before contacting administrators: Refresh and Reset in the Client.
Refresh Configuration: This feature allows end-users to retrieve the latest configuration from Workspot Control. This includes entitlement, policy changes, etc. In the backend, when the client is forced to refresh its configuration, the client and control match the hash. Any changes detected in the hash are then applied to the Client.
Reset: This option is akin to restoring something to its original state or condition, often used to address issues or start anew. Should an issue arise with the Workspot client, rather than uninstalling it, users can opt to reset it, returning it to its original state. Resetting clears all configurations and caches, requiring the end-user to re-register with the client (FTU – First Time User login).
To assist end-users, here are screenshots illustrating how to Refresh and Reset different Workspot Clients.
