Samsung DeX is supported on devices running a supported OS.

Workspot Client for the Web

Chromebook: Google Chrome.

Windows: Google Chrome.

Windows: Microsoft Edge.

Devices should run the latest version of Chrome or Edge.

  • 8 GB RAM recommended (4 GB minimum).

  • 2.0 GHz, 2-core/4-thread CPU recommended (1.6 GHz, 2-core/2-thread CPU minimum).

Workspot Agent: Workspot Linux Desktops require the Workspot Linux Agent.

Linux versions:

  • Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04.

  • CentOS 7.9.

Hardware requirements:

  • Quad-core processor or better.

  • 4 GB of RAM.

Cloud Applications Servers (RD Pools)

  • Workspot Agent. Workspot Cloud Application Servers require the Workspot Windows Desktop Agent.

  • Windows Server 2022, 2019, and 2016.

    • Remote Desktop Services with RD Session Host role installed.

Workspot Managed Gateways

  • Workspot Agent: Workspot Managed Gateways require the Workspot Gateway Agent, which is installed as part of the gateway creation process.

  • Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016.

  • Remote Desktop Services with RD Gateway role installed.

Workspot Control Browser Support

  • Google Chrome.
