Download and Installation
When released, will be available in the Mac App Store.
Note: If the Apple Store reports that the Workspot Mac Client is not in your country, contact Workspot.
Beta Installation
Beta releases, when available, are handled through Apple’s TestFlight program. We provide a link for each Beta release. Clicking this link on your Mac device takes you to a Web page that invites you to install Apple’s TestFlight app if you haven’t already, and to join the Beta program for the individual Beta release. See Installing Beta Releases of the Workspot Mac Client.
Known Issues
The Mac Client supports a maximum of two monitors. With three monitors, the third monitor will mirror a portion of one of the other monitors. Workarounds: Select one of the "Do not use" monitor options ("Do not use leftmost monitor," etc.), Deselect "Use multiple monitors," or ignore the mirrored content on the third monitor.
On Apple M1 machines only, when Chrome is used as the default browser, a bug in Chrome prevents the user from signing out on the first attempt via the "Workspot > Identity Provider Logout" command (used with third-party identity providers such as Okta). Workaround: Perform the operation twice. The second attempt will succeed.
Audio may show echo and loss of synchronization to video. Workaround: In the Preferences menu, set audio quality to "High."
If you maximize and then restore a Workspot desktop window in a session using the obsolete “RDP security” option (that is, not using SSL), the connection closes with error code 70034. Note: RDP security is not recommended and is not supported over Workspot RD Gateways.
