Workspot customers using the US Control instance. Workspot Mac Clients older than 7.0.1 and Workspot iOS Clients older than 7.2.1 will cease functioning soon. Update affected devices by May 15, 2025.
Workspot customers on the EU Control instance. As previously announced, Workspot Mac Clients older than 7.0.1 and Workspot iOS Clients older than 7.2.1 have already ceased functioning. Update affected devices at once.
Most customers are on the US Control instance.
Are You Affected?
You are affected if any of your end-users use Workspot Mac Clients older than 7.01 or Workspot iOS Clients older than 7.2.1.
If your end-users all use other Clients (such as the Workspot Windows or Web Clients), or up-to-date Mac and iOS Clients, you are not affected.
The "Users > Client Activity" page in Workspot Trends can be sorted by OS and release number to find out-of-date Client devices and their users.
Action Required
Your users must update the Workspot Client on their Mac and iPhone/iPad devices. Devices set to install updates automatically have probably already done so.
EU customers: Update your devices immediately, since the change is already in effect.
US customers: Update your devices by May 15, 2025.

Troubleshooting
Non-updated Clients may be able to connect to persistent desktops, but non-persistent desktops and Cloud Applications will be inaccessible.
