How important is using group permissions for administrators?
Companies using VDI need to manage different types of users by their roles, including administrator, helpdesk, etc. Managing permissions at a user level for admins is very crucial to meet required security standards and protocols.
What do they do?
Admin users can now select user groups from Active Directory for different roles in Workspot Control, and apply those roles to all users within a respective group. This can be done after every interval selected in Control.
Use Cases:
New employees join the organization as type “Administrator”. These users can simply be added to the user group synced to the Administrator role in Control
A user who is currently part of the Helpdesk team needs to be working as a performance administrator. The particular user needs to be moved from their current user group to the new target (performance administrator) user group. Control will take care of applying appropriate privileges for the user.
