Mac Multi-Monitor Support
Multiple monitors are supported in a horizontal line or vertical stack.
Multiple monitors are supported for Workspot desktops and RAIL apps if the Client system has its monitors in a simple horizontal line or vertical stack. T-shapes and grids are not supported. For best results, monitors should be shown on the “Display Preferences” pages as aligned and with no gaps between them, as shown above.
Multi-monitor operation is disabled by default. To enable, go to the Client’s “Preferences > RDP > Use all monitors for Remote Desktop” option is selected.
Windows Multi-Monitor Support
In systems with two or more monitors, you can use all monitors, or you can reserve monitors for local use by using either one monitor or all but one monitor for Workspot.
When supported by the remote desktop or app, Your Workspot desktop/app will use as many virtual monitors as these settings allow. For example, if you have three local monitors and choose to use all monitors except one for Workspot, the remote Workspot desktop will create virtual displays for two monitors.
This is set on the Client’s “Settings > RDP > Fullscreen & Multiple Monitors” section. The “Use multiple monitors” checkbox allows you to select whether you want to use all monitors or, if not, which monitor to reserve for local applications.
Up to three monitors are supported in a T or horizontal row (set in your local system in “Settings > Display Settings”). With four or more monitors, the Client does not currently support rectangular arrays of monitors.
When “Use multiple monitors” is set, desktops will automatically open in full-screen mode. If you use switch to windowed mode, your Workspot desktop will go into single-monitor mode, will all its open windows migrating into the surviving desktop window.
