Workspot Windows Client 7.0.0

Prev Next

Highlights

  • Schedule:

    • Beta: December 6, 2025.

    • Production: TBD.

  • Supports the use of a Custom Port for the RDP protocol.

  • Audio/video conferencing is now supported on Microsoft Teams running in the Workspot Browser.

  • Support for Workspot Browser-Only deployments (that is, customers who have chosen to use only the Workspot Enterprise Browser and not desktop/application pools).

  • Client log files are no longer deleted during a Client Reset operation because users often reset the Client before asking IT for help. To delete the log files, uninstall the Client.

  • Support for notifying users that their desktop/app password has expired or will expire soon. This feature is available for customers using third-party identity providers. This is a selective feature: contact Workspot to enable it.

  • Control is now notified whenever a Client user pastes data from the clipboard of a Workspot desktop/application to an application or drive on the local device.

  • A bug that sometimes produced the message, "An error occurred in the authentication module" in Entra ID and Okta logins has been fixed.

  • A bug that could intermittently prevent users from signing in has been fixed.

  • A bug that prevented the login message configured in Control from appearing has been fixed.

Known Issue

  • Display zoom does not work on multi-monitor apps, nor can a zoomed single-monitor app be moved to a different display.

Supported Platforms

Windows 11.
