Highlights

Schedule

  • Released in US on 31st October 2026 and scheduled in EU on 3rd November 2026

New Features

  • Maintenance policy for EC2 pools: You can now set maintenance policies on AWS EC2 pools, as you already could on AWS Workspaces Core pools. Patching across all your AWS desktops can then be managed from Control, without custom scripts.

  • Web App access through physical gateways: Cloud desktop and app pools that use physical gateway clusters can now allow the Web App as a client under Allowed Clients. Previously, this option was unavailable for these pools.

  • Guide Runtime registration through templates: Desktops provisioned from Control templates can now register with Guide Manage automatically.

Enhancements

  • Support Admins can now resume paused cloud desktops and refresh group entitlements for a user from User Details.

  • Idle timeout can now be set to as long as 96 hours (up from 47 hours), so desktops can stay running over long weekends while unused desktops still shut down.

  • Expanded the /v1.0/licenses API to return all license types for improved license visibility and automation.

Bug Fixes

  • A bug that stopped new VMs in GCP auto-scaling pools from registering with Control has been fixed.

  • A bug that kept a cloned GCP template in Draft and caused publishing to fail has been fixed.

  • A bug that left a desktop migration stuck “In Progress” has been fixed.

  • A bug that stopped admins from creating physical gateway clusters in Control has been fixed.
