Workspot Client Overview

The Workspot Client connects end-users to their remote Workspot Desktops and Applications while enforcing the policies set in Workspot Control. When users signs into the Workspot Client, they see the Client dashboard displaying an icon for each of the Workspot Desktops and Applications they are entitled to use. Clicking on the icon launches a remote connection to the Desktop or Application or, in the case of Web Applications, launches a Workspot Enterprise Browser connection to the URL of the Web Application.

Client Versions

The Workspot Client is available in different versions for different end-user devices, such as Windows and Android. All except the Windows and Web Clients are installed from the appropriate App Stores:

User Registration of the Client

To use the Client, all the end-user needs to know is the Company Identifier used for your Workspot deployment (a term like “skynet” that you chose when setting up Workspot), and their own corporate email address and login credentials, plus optional multi-factor authentication. This will register the Client with Workspot Control and display all the Workspot Desktops and Applications the user is entitled to. These entitlements are typically configured to be based on AD or Entra ID group membership, so onboarding can be done by the user with no per-user administrative intervention.
