Errors:

  • Control Event:

This computer can't connect to the remote machine. Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact your network administrator or technical support (Code: 50331675)

  • Gateway Events: CAP authorization is met but Resource Authorization Policy (RAP) authorization is failing.
    Terminal Services-Gateway, Event ID: 301

The user "xxx", on client computer "x.x.x.x", did not meet resource authorization policy requirements and was therefore not authorized to resource "x.x.x.x". The following error occurred: "23002".

Cause: From Workspot Windows Client 5.x, the Client connects to resources through the IP address of the Desktop/App instead of FQDN, and on the Gateway, RAP policy configuration is configured to allow the Domain Computers group in the Network Resource.

Solution: The RAP Policy needs to be created with the setting "Allow users to connect to any network resource" in Network Resource.

On the Gateway Server -> Open “Remote Desktop Gateway Manager” -> Server name (Local) -> Policies -> Resource Authorization Policy (RAP) -> Double click on the RAP Policy name -> go to the Network Resources tab and Change the option from “Select an Active Directory Domain Services network resource group” to “Allow users to connect to any network resources.
