The GUIDE Web Client allows users to run GUIDE Agents from any supported browser. The Client connects to a remote Workspot Windows desktop and runs the Agent there, using the desktop’s software environment.
The Client currently supports only “User”-level actions. Creating Agents, customizing them, debugging them, and altering their parameters (tasks reserved for users at “Builder” level and above) are not supported.

Signing Into the GUIDE Web Client
Currently, you must already have a Workspot account before you use the GUIDE Web Client.
If you do not have one, the simplest method of getting one is to sign into Workspot using the Workspot Web Client at https://web.workspot.com/company_identifier, where “company_identifier” is provided to you by your IT administrator (it is typically a variation on your company’s name, such as “acme-anvils”).
Go to https://web.runguide.ai.
Sign in with your Workspot Company Identifier and your corporate credentials.

After signing in, you will see the GUIDE Web Client dashboard, which shows a list of tiles, each of which is an Agent you can run. It also has a Settings (gear) icon and a “Sign Out” button.

Running Agents on the Client
For each Agent, there are buttons for “Run Agent,” “Select Runtime Environment,” “Runtime Variables,” and “Share Link”:
Run Agent

Clicking the “Run Agent” button launches the Agent. The first time you run it, you will be prompted for the credentials for your Workspot desktop. These are usually the same credentials you used to sign into the Client.
You may also be prompted for the runtime variables (described below) used by the Agent.
The Client then launches a remote desktop session inside the same browser tab as the Client. Once open, the Agent follows its instructions and controls the remote session via simulated mouse and keyboard operations. When its task is done, it closes the remove session.

The icon at the top center of the remote display can be opened with a mouse click to provide you with options:

Since the Agent is running (and intermittently taking the keyboard and mouse away from you and using them for its own purposes) the only recommended control is “Disconnect.” Use it to abort an Agent run that has gone wrong.
Select Runtime Environment

Lists the Workspot desktops the Agent can use. If you have access to multiple non-persistent Workspot desktops, you can select the desired one here.
Runtime Variables

Agents often don’t use fixed parameters but require that you specify filenames, values, and so on at runtime. The available runtime variables are accessed from the “Runtime Variables” link on the Agent tile.
You may be prompted for these automatically when you run the Agent.
Most have default values you can often leave as-is.
Share Link

Each Agent has a unique link that can be shared. It is usable only by GUIDE users who have appropriate permissions to use the Agent.
Other Controls

The upper right-hand corner of the GUIDE screen has two buttons: Sign Out, and Settings (a gear icon).
