# Workspot Windows Client Release 5.2.0

## Highlights

- In Production.
- Support for non-persistent global desktops.
- A bug in Windows Client 5.1.1 sometimes caused it to generate "Failed to apply display settings, attempt 9/9" Control Event messages when users signed into their Workspot desktops. This has been fixed.

## Supported Platforms

Windows 10 and Windows 11.

## Installation

**Installing the Release Manually**

The Client is available for manual installation from Workspot's download site ([https://download.workspot.com](https://download.workspot.com/)) using the link below:

**Installing the Release Automatically**

Automatic updates via the (highly recommended) Deployment Ring option work as follows:

- *The Stable Ring* (recommended for most users) is always set to the most recent production release.
- *The Preview Ring* (recommended for beta testers and early adopters) is always set to the most recent beta release or production release, whichever is newer.
