# Workspot Windows Client 6.2.0

### **Highlights**

- Available now.
- The Enterprise Browser (used for Web Applications) has been updated.
- Support for the [Workspot Media Extension](/v1/docs/workspot-media-extension) on [Application Server Pools](/v1/docs/workspot-application-server-pools-cloud-app-pools).
- The Client now reports when a user's attempt to reboot a Workspot desktop has failed.
- A bug that prevented the "Connection Quality" display from being updated has been fixed.
- Reliability and security improvements.

## **Supported Platforms**

Windows 10 and Windows 11.

## **Installation**

**Installing the Release Manually**

The Client will available for manual installation from Workspot's download site ([https://download.workspot.com](https://download.workspot.com/)) using: [WorkspotClientSetup64(6.2.0.5614).msi](https://download.workspot.com/WorkspotClientSetup64(6.2.0.5614).msi).

**Installing the Release Automatically**

Workspot’s (highly recommended) automatic updates via [Deployment Rings](https://docs.workspot.com/v1/docs/workspot-windows-client-automatic-updates-via-deployment-rings) will start after the release as follows:

- *The Stable Ring* (recommended for most users) is always set to the most recent production release.
- *The Preview Ring* (recommended for beta testers and early adopters) is always set to the most recent beta release *or*production release, whichever is newer.

## Known Issues

- When display zoom is set in the Client, you cannot move a Workspot app from one display to another.
- When a power-managed desktop resumes from sleep, the connection may time out prematurely with the error "There was a problem starting your desktop. Please contact your administrator." The end-user should retry the connection BEFORE contacting the administrator, since this usually works.
- Users of Windows 11 Client devices are reported in Control's "User Details" page as using Windows 10.
- If you assign a Linux desktop to a user manually in Control, and the user connects to it for the first time with the Windows Client, the Client is supposed to prompt the user for sign-in credentials. Instead, the Client tries the most recently used credentials from another Workspot desktop/app first. If these succeed, the user is signed in automatically.
- Linux desktops do not support Client drive redirection.
- Desktop zoom is not supported when you have enabled multiple monitors (instead, Zoom is always 100%), but the Client lets you set a zoom level anyway.
- When a Workspot desktop or App shows a login dialog, you have to click on the first field even though it appears to be selected already.
- Sometimes nothing happens if a user closes and then reopens the same app immediately. Workaround: Wait 1-2 minutes and try again.
