# Workspot Windows Client 6.1.1

Release notes for Workspot Windows Client release 6.1.1

### **Highlights**

- Hotfix release.
- Available for download and in the automatic deployment Preview Ring and Stable Ring.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented Teams Screen Sharing from working when Teams was run on the remote Workspot Desktop with the Teams Plugin enabled.

## Known Issues

- If the Teams application is open on the remote desktop and the Teams Plugin is enable, automatic reconnect fails. Workaround: reconnect manually by clicking the desktop icon in the Workspot Client dashboard.
- Display zoom does not work on multi-monitor apps, nor can a zoomed single-monitor app be moved to a different display.

Windows 10 and Windows 11.

### **Installing the Release Manually**

The Client is available for manual installation from Workspot's download site ([https://download.workspot.com](https://download.workspot.com/)) using the links below:

- Beta Windows Client download link: N/A.
- Production Windows Client download link: [WorkspotClientSetup64(6.1.1.5593).msi](https://download.workspot.com/WorkspotClientSetup64(6.1.1.5593).msi).

### **Installing the Release Automatically**

Workspot’s (highly recommended) automatic updates via [Deployment Rings](https://docs.workspot.com/v1/docs/workspot-windows-client-automatic-updates-via-deployment-rings) will start after the release as follows:

- *The Stable Ring* (recommended for most users) is always set to the most recent production release.
- *The Preview Ring* (recommended for beta testers and early adopters) is always set to the most recent beta release *or*production release, whichever is newer.
