# Workspot Windows Client 5.3.1

### Highlights

- Hotfix release available on February 26, 2024
- Fixes a bug that caused the Client to crash after idle periods.

## Supported Platforms

Windows 10 and Windows 11.

## Installation

**Installing the Release Manually**

The Client is available for manual installation from Workspot's download site ([https://download.workspot.com](https://download.workspot.com/)) using the link below:

- Production Windows Client: [WorkspotClientSetup64(5.3.1.5321).msi](https://download.workspot.com/WorkspotClientSetup64(5.3.1.5321).msi).

**Installing the Release Automatically**

Workspot’s (highly recommended) automatic updates via [Deployment Rings](/v1/docs/workspot-windows-client-automatic-updates-via-deployment-rings) will start after the release as follows:

- *The Stable Ring* (recommended for most users) is always set to the most recent production release.
- *The Preview Ring* (recommended for beta testers and early adopters) is always set to the most recent beta release *or*production release, whichever is newer.
