# Workspot Mac Client Release 6.2.0

## **Highlights**

- Supports Control's "Prefilled Username" feature, where the user cannot enter someone else's username for a Workspot desktop or app. This is enabled in Control on a per-pool basis. See [Control: Desktop Pools](/v1/docs/control-desktop-pools).
- Support for the Security Policy "Lock Inactive Client Dashboard" feature, which allows the Client Dashboard's idle time to be treated separately and lock an idle Dashboard even when the user's Workspot desktops and apps are in use. This limits the ability of other users to launch desktops and apps when the user's back is turned. See [Control: Security Policies](/v1/docs/control-security-policies).
- Support for the RPC protocol's Dynamic Virtual Channels for greater flexibility in communication between the Client and remote system.

## **OS/Hardware Support:**

- Supported on macOS 14 Sonoma and macOS 13 Ventura.
- Native support for systems with M-series processors.
