# Workspot Mac Client Release 6.1.0

## Highlights

- Available now.
- Support for [Global Application Pools](/v1/docs/global-application-pools).
- Initial support for [Security Posture Checking](/v1/docs/security-posture-checking#workspot-mac-client). The Client can warn the user that macOS is out of date and optionally refuse to connect to a Workspot desktop/app as specified in Security Policies.
- The Client sends additional monitoring/debugging details to Control for use by [Using Workspot Watch](/v1/docs/using-workspot-watch), including the Workspot policies in force, the end-user's Client settings, and posture-check results.

## Fixed Bug

- A bug that caused [Gateway Policies](/v1/docs/managed-gateways-gateway-clusters#5-gateway-policies) to be ignored when deciding which types of Client I/O redirection to allow has been fixed.

## OS/Hardware Support:

- Supported on macOS 14 Sonoma and macOS 13 Ventura.
- Native support for systems with M-series processors.
