# Workspot Control Release 26.5 Notes

## Highlights

- Schedule: Released on June 6, 2026.
- Performance improvements when polling [Workspot Enterprise Connector](/v1/docs/workspot-enterprise-connector) in multi-domain AD deployments.
- [The Control API](/v1/docs/using-the-workspot-control-api) allows AWS snapshot images of Workspot VMs can be imported directly into desktop pools, either as new or replacement desktops.
- "Never Sleep" is no longer grayed out for [Time Limits Policies](/v1/docs/control-time-limit-policies) for persistent desktops pools.
- A bug that caused [GCP templates](/v1/docs/creating-workspot-templates-for-gcp) created via "Clone Template" and "Build Template" to not be associated with the Service Account has been fixed.
