# Workspot Control Release 25.11 Notes

## Highlights

- Schedule:
  - US Control: Released on November 8, 2025.
  - EU Control: Scheduled for November 11, 2025.

- Initial support for the Akamai cloud. See [Akamai Cloud Overview](/v1/docs/akamai-cloud-overview).
  - Initial support includes Linode-based Windows persistent desktop pools only.
- Entra ID-only deployments use a new Key Vault-based system for storing the Entra ID BPRT token.

### Fixed Bugs

- Cloned Azure templates now follow the size specified in the parent template's metadata rather than the default.
- A bug that prevented the number of licenses from being displayed for Amazon AWS customers has been fixed.

## Known Issues

#### New Known Issues

- Deleting an Akamai template in Control removes its listing in Control but leaves it intact in the Akamai Coud. *Workaround:* Delete it from the Akamai console.
- If a VM joined to the Entra ID domain is unjoined by Control, it is not removed from the Entra ID tables unless the VM is running, since this task can only be performed by the VM itself. Such stale VMs do not consume resources. They can be removed from the Entra ID console or via the Control API's "staleDevices" call. - The Entra ID-only BRPT token does not have cross-tenant support.
