1. Install Workspot Agent on VM to be used as template
  - [Workspot Desktop Agent Installation and Configuration](/v1/docs/workspot-desktop-agent-installation-and-configuration)
  - Configure XML file for Domain Join. (maybe create a new KB specifically for how to use the config editor GUI)
  - Configure VMware VM with required applications.
  - Shutdown and convert VM to Template in vCenter.
    - All virtual machines in a desktop pool created in Control from the template will match the virtual hardware of the template (disk, cpu, ram, etc)
    - IMPORTANT - Leave in template mode at all times while Control is provisioning VMs.
    - Although you can convert the template back to a VM and make changes and then convert back to a template, in a production scenario, it is best to clone the existing template to a new VM and make changes that way. Will need to uninstall the Workspot Agent and reinstall the agent in order for the new template to be recognized/seen by Control.

1. Create Cloud Desktop Pool/Cloud App Pool (Server 2019/2022 RDS) in Control
