# Workspot Control 26.4 Notes

## Highlights

- Released on April 11, 2026 in the US and April 14, 2026 in the EU.
- ([Amazon Workspaces Core](/v1/docs/amazon-workspaces-core-overview).) Initial support for Amazon's monthly flat-rate pricing. Contact Workspot to enable this.
- When a new release of the [Workspot Media Extension](/v1/docs/workspot-media-extension) becomes available or when the relevant Media Redirection Policy is assigned or updated, Control notifies Agent to apply these updates the next time it restarts.
- [Media Redirection Policies](/v1/docs/workspot-media-extension#media-redirection-policy) now allow you to specify the Web application associated with the URL, with "Use System Browser" for URLs not associated with a Web application, but which you want to open on the end-user's Client device. It also adds "Enable Taskbar Notification" to associate an icon on the desktop taskbar with the browser window on the Client device.
