# "Virtual Machine Not Found" Errors on Pool Creation

### **Symptom**

When creating a new Workspot desktop pool, you get "Virtual Machine Not Found" errors.

### **Cause**

Templates for use in the Azure cloud are Region-specific*.*Attempting to use a template in the wrong Azure region results in a "virtual machine not found" error.

### **Solutions**

- Use a template created for the desired Azure region
- Contact Workspot if you need to modify a template to work in a region other than the one it was created for
