Installing the Workspot IGEL Client
The IGEL Client is typically pushed by your IT administrator to IGEL Secure Endpoint OS devices without user intervention, using your organization’s UMS server.
A user with adequate permissions can also download and install it from the IGEL Portal.
Using the IGEL Client
The information below is specific to the IGEL Client. See Workspot Client Quick Start for general information about Workspot Clients.
Signing in to the Client
The Workspot Client will appear on your IGEL desktop as an icon with the Workspot logo. Click the logo to launch the Client.
You may be asked to enter a “Company Identifier” on the first Client screen. Get this from your IT administrator if necessary. It is usually a variation on your company name.
You will see a login screen, which may vary from the ones shown below. Follow the prompts for your account credentials:

Username screen (yours may differ).

Password screen (yours may differ).
Using the Client
Once signed in, you will see the Client dashboard. Each icon is a Workspot Desktop or Application. Only Workspot resources you are entitled to use are displayed.

Restore (small “□“): Restore a minimized window.
Maximize (large “□“): Use full-screen or multi-screen display.
