# Slow or lag issues inside an Azure VM? How to Redeploy

If a user is having persistent lag issue inside their Azure VM, the fastest thing to do is reboot the VM from the Control menu screen. Please have the user save all data before performing this action or the “redeploy” action below.

If a reboot does not fix the problem, the next step is to Redeploy the VM. This will shut down the VM and move it to a new hypervisor host. It will then power back on. This process takes a few minutes more than a reboot.
