# How to Adjust Icons Display Size on the Workspot Desktop

## Summary

In some cases, users require the capability to adjust the size of text and icons on their Workspot desktop directly without impacting the display settings on their local machine.

However, in the Workspot desktop, these display options greyed out.

## Cause

Workspot leverages the RDP protocol to transmit display preferences. By default, the Workspot workstation will use the same settings used on the local machine.

## Solution

Open the Workspot Client Settings by clicking on the gear icon and click on the User tab. Adjust the Zoom scroll bar to the desired icon/text size. The icon/text size can be changed in real-time without signing out of the Workspot desktop.
