# Guide Control Release 1.2.0 Notes

**New Features**

- **Chicklet:** Users can now switch and navigate among Workspot apps such as Control, Manage, Trends and Watch directly from Control.
- **Limited customer admin role:** A new admin role gives customers administrative access with restricted actions. Admins with this customer admin role can't change cloud provider tokens in Setup or delete [templates.](http://templates.One) This is intended for managed services or environments where you need both an admin with full read / write access, and an admin that has limitations on read / write access.

**Enhancements**

- **Nested virtualization on AWS Core Managed Instance (CMI).** Nested virtualization is now supported on AWS Core Managed Instance. Run workloads that need Hyper-V or Virtual Machine Platform inside desktops. Turning on nested virtualization disables Windows Credential Guard and Virtual Secure Mode, and you can no longer hibernate and resume the instance.

**Security**

- Control and Guide now connect to Redis with a dedicated named user instead of the default user, and the Redis client library has been upgraded.
