From time to time, you may have an issue that can be resolved most efficiently by allowing a member of the Workspot support team to sign onto Control as an administrator. This can be done in one of two ways:
By creating an account inside your organization that allows Workspot Support to use Control (only).
By using the Workspot Support Access mechanism to grant access to Control without such an account.
The second method, Workspot Support Access, is the topic of this article. It was introduced in Control R16.4.
If you permit it, designated users of Workspot's internal Network Operating Center (NOC) can sign into your instance of Workspot Control securely and perform administrative tasks as if they were one of your own Workspot administrators. Their actions are logged on Control's Events page.
