# Error Code: 7

**Error:**The user failed to launch the desktop. No gateways are currently available, **OR** Could not connect to your Workspot remote gateway. This is usually a network issue with your local device.

**Possible Causes:**

- The Remote Desktop(RD) Gateway server is down or unreachable from the client device.
- The network port (TCP 443) is blocked, or the request is not reachable from the client device to the RD Gateway.
- The Client failed to connect to the Pause Resume Service, a network issue at the client end.

**Possible Troubleshootings:**

- Ensure the client device's network connection is reliable. If the network is weak, connect to a wired or more stable network. Please conduct a ping test to assess network reliability: https://docs.workspot.com/docs/how-to-run-ping-test-when-experiencing-client-disconnects.
- Ensure the gateway URIs are accessible from the client machine. To get the gateway URI (Control> Setup > Gateway Cluster > Select Gateway > Public URI)
  - Access it through a browser. To ensure that the gateway is reachable from the client device.
  - Verify Telnet to the Gateway URI on port 443.
  - Ensure that the Windows or Network firewall permits access to the Gateway.
