Error: Domain Join failing with "Domain join failed with [Error Code: 2224] The account already exists." 

Possible Cause: Incorrect Active Directory Organisational Unit (OU) details entered in the WorkspotConfig.xml file during template setup. The account already exists in the Active Directory; however, because of the incorrect OU path, the account is trying to get created in a different OU (may not exist).

Fix: Clone the existing Template from the Workspot Control.

  • Log in to the cloned template

  • Open WorkspotConfigEditor.exe from C:\programdata/WorkspotAgent/Config

  • Update the OU path and other details, and “test Secure Credential.”

  • Publish the template, and re-provision the failed VMs in the Pool.
