# Customer Advisory: Update Your Zoom VDI Clients

## What

Critical security issue in the Zoom VDI Client for Windows.

> **Note:**This is not strictly a Workspot issue, but many Workspot customers use the Zoom VDI Client on their Workspot desktops.

## Action Required

Update Zoom VDI Clients to versions where the issue has been fixed, as described below.

## Details

Zoom informs us:

We are writing to inform you that the Zoom security team has identified and resolved a critical rated security issue that, in order to remediate, requires you to update your Zoom Workplace VDI Client for Windows. *The Zoom VDI Plugin is NOT affected.*

**Required Action**

To remediate the security risk, please upgrade to one of the following Zoom Workplace VDI Client for Windows [versions](https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&amp;sysparm_article=KB0063810)depending on what minor version track you are on:

- 6.1.16 or higher
- 6.2.12 or higher
- 6.3.10 or higher

**Security Impact**

The vulnerability could allow unauthorized code execution through Zoom meeting links. While exploitation requires user interaction with an untrusted link, we strongly recommend immediately updating to maintain the security of your systems.
