# Adjusting Quota Limits for Azure GPU VMs

### STEP 1 Go to portal.azure.com

### STEP 2 Click on Subscriptions

### STEP 3 Click on your subscription name

### STEP 4 Click on Usage + quotas on the left hand side

### STEP 5 Look for Standard NVSv4 Family vCPUs

### STEP 6 Check checkbox

### STEP 7 Click on Request Quota Increase…

### STEP 8 Click on Enter a new limit

### STEP 9 Enter the New quota limit.

You can get the limit by multiplying the total number of VM instances you will have times the number of cores each machine will have. You can add an extra 10-15% for templates.

### STEP 10 Click on Submit…

After you click on Submit, you will either get the increase approved. Or will be prompted to create a support ticket to add Compute Cores, and a Microsoft Agent will assist via your chosen method of communication to add the cores
