# Access Workspot Apps and VDI Desktops using IGEL OS 11.09.160

### **Initial Setup:**

Launch IGEL setup utility

Navigate to Sessions > Chromium Browser > Chromium Sessions

Create a new session (session name will show up on the desktop under the Chromium icon)

Edit the new session > Settings

On Startup: Open a specific page or set of pages

Startup page: web.workspot.com/*companyidentifier*

*Note: Company Identifier can be found in Workspot Control under Settings > Configuration > Company Identifier*

*Hit OK*

Navigate to Sessions > Chromium Browser > Chromium Browser Global

Check ‘Use IGEL Setup for configuration’

Navigate to Sessions > Chromium Browser > Chromium Browser Global > Content

Enable ‘Block pop-ups and redirects then click ‘Exceptions’

Add an exception for web.workspot.com

Navigate to Sessions > Chromium Browser > Chromium Browser Global > Privacy

Uncheck ‘Block third party cookies’

Click OK

### **Authenticating to Workspot web client:**

On the IGEL desktop, launch the Chromium session created previously.

The authentication method configured in Workspot Control will be used. In this example Entra ID is used.

After successful authentication, assigned applications and desktops will be shown.

Depending on the configured security policy, users may need to enter their credentials.

The application or desktop is presented to the user.
